Additionally, vigorous sex might increase the chances of an ectopic pregnancy. With that said, all other methods aside from intercourse are more recommended.


The best frequency of sex

According to the Academy of Family Physicians, most healthy adults need about 7 hours of sleep per night. If you're over the age of 30, your best bet is around 8 hours. Adults also require 20-30 minutes of moderate exercise three times per week and plenty of fresh air. Sexual activity can also be considered physical activity as it requires a certain amount of movement from both partners. Dr. Mehmet Oz says that sexual frequency should correlate with an individual's age and that as we get older, our libido diminishes. He recommends sex once or twice a week for people in their 60s but would go up to once or twice per day if they are in their 40s or 50s.

To begin, one of the most important components of foreplay is kissing. You can't just go straight into everything, especially if you want your partner to feel close to you and even more in the mood.
